It is not a doubt that Ugandan music has a good position in terms of excellence at the African continent. Some people may deny and criticise the industry but the fact remains that Ugandan have a talent that is hard to find.
It is therefore not shocking that Jamaican Dancehall DJ and artist Moses Anthony David musically known as a Beenie Man would choose a Ugandan to do a collabo with him.
The Ugandan chosen is Joel Kwizera musically and socially known as Jokwiz Klean Kwizera an artist and media personality in Uganda.
Recently, on his Instagram account, Jokwiz posted a video of his new song called Boom Boom with Beenie Man. In the video, Beenie is seen doing what he does best and that singing dance hall.
The song itself showcases a unique style of music in the Ugandan Music industry and this explains the art of work that Jokwiz is.
Jokwiz was a media personality before he ventured into the music industry as an artist.
He has and continues to have a number of unique projects that have been extremely successful and this shows that indeed, he has great dreams as a musician.
The song video posted on his Instagram account reveals unique beats coupled with the unique voices from Jokwiz and the king of dance hall- Beenie Man.
We love to see that Ugandan musicians decided to go international and not confine themselves in the limits of Ugandan Music.
Besides Jokwiz, other artists have sang with international artists for example Spice Diana made a collabo with Harmonize a Tanzania artist.
This thinking out of the box has put Ugandan music on the international scene because the fans of international artists get to listen to other songs of Ugandan artists besides the collaborated song.
