Ugandan singer Derrick Biswanka has confirmed that he is the father of two children following a DNA test that established his paternity of Angello Nakabaale.
Speaking during an interview on Galaxy TV’s Jikonkone Rewind, Biswanka said a fan paid for the DNA test and claimed the child’s mother wanted to have a baby with a celebrity.
“I am a proud father of two and I still producing more because am fertile.
Biswanka further claimed that he had not been in a relationship with the child’s mother, alleging that she wanted to have a child with a celebrity to damage his reputation.
He also said he has a partner who he expects to give birth to another child he intends to name Biswanka Junior.
The singer’s remarks follow months of public disagreement over the paternity of Angello Nakabaale, whose mother has been identified in media reports as Tashi Miles.
Biswanka had previously questioned whether he was the child’s biological father, saying he had never met the child in person and had only seen photographs online. He subsequently called for a DNA test to establish the truth.
Results from MBN Laboratory in Wandegeya confirmed that he was the biological father.
Following the results, Biswanka acknowledged the child in a TikTok post, introducing him to his sister, Genevieve Biswanka, and writing that DNA had confirmed his paternity.
He had earlier told Sanyuka TV that attempts to arrange a DNA test had not succeeded before the dispute became public.
The singer also previously claimed that he and the child’s mother had met only once and that their encounter resulted in the pregnancy. Those claims formed part of his account of the dispute.
However, the child’s mother has reportedly maintained that a positive DNA result would not automatically mean she would hand over the child, pointing to how the matter had been handled.
Biswanka’s latest comments suggest he is now embracing his status as a father of two while maintaining that the paternity dispute was unnecessary.
His claims about the mother’s intentions remain his own account of the events.
