Pepeta Bets Uganda has sponsored a community football tournament organised by the Daddy Kim Foundation in Katanga, Kampala, providing equipment to 20 teams and a UGX 20 million package to support the event.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off on Monday, November 9, 2026. Each participating team has received a full set of soccer uniforms and footballs, while the organisers received the financial package to help run the competition.
According to Pepeta Bets Uganda, the sponsorship is intended to support young people through organised sport, giving them opportunities to develop their football skills, build teamwork and take part in positive community activities.
The company says the tournament could also help keep young people engaged, reduce idle time and provide a platform where talented players can gain visibility among coaches and other football stakeholders.

Beyond the matches, the event is expected to bring together families, friends and residents, strengthening community participation and supporting local businesses.
The Daddy Kim Foundation works with young people in Katanga, while Pepeta Bets Uganda says the partnership forms part of its community support initiatives.
Pepeta Bets Uganda Limited operates under a licence from the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB). The company states that customers must be at least 25 years old to use its betting platform.
