Just a day after the burial of Francis Kalibala, a private bodyguard attached to National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate was buried in Masaka after he was knocked dead in Busega along Masaka Road, another private bodyguard attached to the Kyadondo East legislator has been knocked down in Kalarwe in Kampala.
The bodyguard, identified as Ashraf Sseremba was knocked down around Kalarwe as he made his way to Kamwokya at the NUP party headquarters for a presser.
According to Joel Ssenyonyi, the NUP party spokesperson, the victim was knocked down while heading to Kamwokya this morning.
Ssenyonyi added that Ashraf;s leg was fractured and has been rushed to hospital to receive treatment.
According to reports from the NUP, the car that knocked down Ashraf is yet to be identified.
This comes at a time when the NUP is still mourning the death of Frank Ssenteza who was buried yesterday December 28th, 2020 and still praying for Ashraf Kasirye who is still fighting for his life in hospital.
