National Unity Platform Chairman Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has confirmed the arrest of another ally Umar Kagimu.
Kyagulanyi says that Kagimu, who printed posters and other materials for NUP, was arrested on Thursday.
“He is said to have been violently arrested on Thursday by armed operatives who raided his shop at Nasser road,” the former Presidential candidate posted.
“He is suspected to have our DR forms, and he is now in military jail.”
So many NUP allies and supporters have been arrested during the election period.
Members like Buken Ali known as Nubian Li and Ssebufu Edward known as Eddie Mutwe among other members have been charged for illegal possession of ammunition as confirmed by police.
