House of Prayer Ministries International lead pastor, Pastor Aloysius Bujingo has weighed in on presidential hopeful Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu alias Bobi Wine’s decision to fly out his family ahead of the January 14 General Elections.
While urging Ugandans to turn up in large numbers and exercise their constitutional right of voting leaders, Bujingo asked the public to look closely at the candidate they intend on trusting their vote with.
The controversial city pastor told the people to be careful with who they entrust the future of the country with, and weigh the candidates before they decide on who to choose.
He also urged the public to be vigilant and careful with politicians more so those who are flying their children and relatives out of the country.

The vocal pastor also added that he doesn’t think somebody who only cares about his family can turn out to be a good leader.
“I don’t think someone who only cares about his family can be that a good leader. The only bullet proof you have is common sense,”Aloysius Bujingo , Lead Pastor – House of Prayer Ministries.
He also asked the people to go straight home after voting and not to risk their lives staying around, protecting a mere paper.

Several religious leader have cried out to the government and the general public for free and fair elections as well as sending out messages of peace to the masses, government and other political actors to consider a non-violent election process.
