COVID-19: Vaccination to start on March 10th

The Ministry of Health has announced that vaccination against the novel Corona Virus will begin on March 10th, 2021.

According to the Health Minister, Dr Jane Ruth Aceng, the governement will start the vaccination exercise with health workers, followed by teachers as schools re-open for other classes.

“The government will start with health workers while vaccinating against Covid-19 on March 10. These will be followed by teachers as schools start re-opening for other classes. Vaccination is voluntary and free of charge.”

She added that the vaccination is voluntary and free of charge for all people, and individuals will require a national identification card while foreigners will require a passport to receive the vaccine.
