Hon Kyagulanyi Robert is not the NUP party president – Moses Kibalamu

According to the founder of the National Unity Platform party Moses Nkonge Kibalamu, Hon Kyagulanyi Robert alias Bobi Wine is not the party president of National Unity Platform (NUP) but was just a flag bearer in the concluded elections.

Moses Nkonge Kibalamu the founder of National Unity (NUP) Platform which was called National Unity Reconciliation and Development Party then, insists that Hon Kyagulanyi Robert doesn’t own the National Unity Platform as his own party. He made these remarks while on an interview with STV.

Kibalama revealed that all People Power candidates were just helped because they (the people power candidates) had no option.

This was after a News Paper published a story headlining with an allegation that Kibalama confessed that the State coached them to lie against Bobi Wine.

However, Kibalama denies the allegations. According to him, the headline is false and he does not know anything about it.

Kibalama however revealed that Hon Kyagulanyi Robert came over to him with no other option and they helped him join their party as a flag bearer and later started calling himself the party president which is not true.

Kibalama added that he doesn’t understand how Bobi Wine became the party president as it has become known to the public instead of just a flag bearer for the party.

He also dismissed the allegations that the state coerced him to ie against Bobi Wine and denied ever taking anyone to court before a judgeto explain how the National Unity Platform party.

Kibalama emphasized that Bobi Wine does not and has never owned the National Unity Platform party but rather joined the party as just a member.
