Yesterday, February 1st, 2021 marked exactly three (3) years since Mowzey Radio passed on at Case Hospital in Kampala.
Mowzey Radio, real names Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo passed on at Case Clinic in Kampala on February 1st, 2018 where he had been admitted after a bar brawl in Entebbe days earlier.
Since then, artists, relatives and individuals from various walks of life come together to commemorate and celebrate the artist every February 1st and some share fond memories that they had with the fallen artist.
Ernest Nsimbi better known by his stage name GNL Zamba revealed that he had countless memories with Mowzey Radio and wouldn’t even know where to begin from if he had to talk about his time with the late singer.
“I have so many memories with Radio, I don’t even know where to begin from if I were to share some with you”GNL Zamba on Radio.
The King of Luga-flow revealed that Radio was a very kind artist who loved people even though not many believe that. Radio liked being appreciated for the things that he did and sometimes he would over do what he was doing according to GNL.
GNL also added that Radio was very talented and he is probably the most talented and fastest writer he has ever seen in his entire life.
“Radio was a very talented writer. I have never seen anybody write songs so fast as Radio did. He would simply look at leaves fall off a tree and write songs from that scenery.”GNL on Radio
Just like most of us, GNL says he surely misses Radio and all the memories that the two music giants shared.
