I have the support of the security forces of Uganda – Bobi Wine

The flag bearer for the National Unity Platform in the presidential race for the 2021 general elections has said that Security Forces in the country do support him and that explains the recent reshuffles within the sector.

The Kyadondo East legislator made these claims while on his campaign trail in Rukungiri as he summed up his campaigns in the Kigezi sub-region.

The singer cum politician has time and again praised the forces while highlighting that there a re good people among the men in Uniform who only do bad things on orders of the incumbent and chairperson of the ruling National Resistance Movement – NRM party.

These claims come just a day after the Commander in Chief of the armed forces made a couple of changes to the leadership of the armed forces which changes saw first son Maj Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba put in charge of the Special Forces Command while Maj Gen Paul Lokech replaced Maj Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi as the Deputy Inspector General of Police. Maj Gen Sabiiti was recalled to the UPDF Headquarters for redeployment.

Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu said that President Museveni made the changes simply because the security forces do support him.
