I hope the president opens bars tonight – Balaam Byarugahare

Events promoter and National Resistance Movement (NRM) mobilizer Balaam Byarugahare has expressed anxiety prior to the president’s address to the nation tonight.

The Events promoter said that he hopes the president addresses the issue of reopening bars and have them reopened for business after over a year since they were closed.

“I hope the President allows bars to open and work up to at least 9 PM.”

President Museveni is set to address the Nation tonight at 8:00 PM and he is expected to address issues of national interest.

According to Balaam Byarugahare, the government has done a lot to fight against COVID-19 and he is convinced that they are well versed and educated about the virus.

“Our government has done a lot to fight against COVID19. I hope Ugandans are now well versed and educated about the virus.”
