Kyadondo East member of parliament and National Unity Platform flag bearer for the general elections Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu’s pursuit for the presidential seat has been marred with violence and experiences he will live to tell.

Less than a week after spending nights in the coolers in the dreaded Nalufenya Prison in Jinja, he made a return to the campaign trail heading to the western part of the country, where bullets, tear gas and “kiboko” followed him.

He and his supporters have continued to be subjected to violence and torture by security forces, and many have been reported injured and others dead.

Latest to the list of bad experiences subjected to the presidential hopeful came yesterday when he was denied access to accommodation in Masindi and Hoima and forced to spend the night on the roadside in Mijera.

Hon. Kyagulanyi was forced to spend the night in his car.

Some of the press members with whom the presidential candidate is travelling covering his campaign trails could not find shelter as well and s[pent the night out with Hon. Kyagulanyi.

Bobi WIne’s security and other people with whom he is moving along joined him to spend the night along the roadside last night.

Bobi Wine continues with his campaigns today, and he is scheduled to be in Kyankwanzi among other places.
