For a couple of days now, Muhoozi Kainerugaba the Special Forces Command boss and son to President Museveni has been on the receiving end of public backlash over his tweets.
He has been going toe to toe with National Unity Platform presidential candidate Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine.
The SFC boss has often retracted some his tweets but it is seldom in time to save him from the angry public that often has screenshots of the tweets even after they are deleted.
While appearing on NBS Television’s morning program, The NBS Morning Breeze, former Forum for Democratic Change president Dr. Kizza Besigye has condemned the way in which the SFC boss conducts himself.
“Muhoozi should be in jail for his tweets” said a seemingly astonished and angry Dr. Kizza Besigye on NBS Television.
Even though he uses his personal handle (Twitter account) to share his personal opinions, Dr. Besigye thinks that he should respect the position and office that he holds and be careful with the tweets he shares.
Muhoozi’s tweets have been classified by a few individuals as tribalistic, partisan and disrespectful.
Several other people including Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) President, Patrick Kanyomozi as well as the NAtional Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi.
