Police block Bobi Wine in Kayunga on his way to Namisindwa

Security forces including the Uganda Police and the Military police have blocked National Unity Platform presidential candidate Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu in Kayunga on his way to Namisindwa.

Hon Kyagulanyi is scheduled to resume his campaigns after a short break resulting from the arrest of members of his campaign team including Eddie Mutwe and Nubian Li, his very close associates in Kalanga.

The Police claim that Bobi Wine should not move with medical assistants, political assistants and journalists, ordering him to move with only two (2) cars which the presidential candidate disagrees with.

The Police also emptied and impounded one the vehicle in which journalists were travelling on grounds that it was not in shape to be on the road transporting people.

Video recorded on the morning of January 6th, 2020 in Kayunga shows Hon Kyagulanyi talking to journalists after he had been blocked by security officers in Kayunga on his way to Namisindwa District for his campaign meeting.
