Ugandans have been peaceful and disciplined – Ofwono Opondo

Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo said the government of Uganda is thankful during to the discipline and peace kept by Ugandans.

Uganda having been under lockdown for one year, Ofwono Opondo said most Ugandans have tried to keep themselves busy and get themselves out of evil acts.

According to OO the government had anticipated that there will be hungry gangs disturbing people and their businesses but it has not happened so far.

“The government of Uganda would like to thank the people of Uganda for not only keeping peace but also discipline. We had anticipated that we would have hungry gangs, well-laying business people. We have not had that. “ Ofwono Opondo said.

The government Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo made these statements during a press conference on March 19th 2021 morning.

Despite the few cases of indiscipline that have happened, Ofwono Opondo said police has managed to remove the undisciplined people from the public and punished accordingly.
