We would buy weapons, but not to attack citizens – NUP’s Ssegona

National Unity Platform lawyer and Busiro East Member of Parliament has said that if the National Unity Platform is voted into power, they would indeed continue to buy weapons but not to attack citizens.

Seegona said this while appearing on NBS Television show, the Frontline while facing off with government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo.

Ssegona accused the NRM Government of buying weapons unnecessarily which leads to them attacking citizens.

The legislator added that the National Unity Platform government would only buy weapons if and when it is necessary and never to attack its own citizens.
