Sheilah Gashumba has hit back at media personality Evelyn Mic following her claims about Sheilah’s relationship with businessman Alex Bidandi, questioning Evelyn’s own achievements and accusing her of constantly attacking public figures.

Sheilah, who was speaking during an interview on Kasuku Live, appeared frustrated by Evelyn’s repeated comments about celebrities, including socialite Zari Hassan.
Sheilah argued that relationships and marriage become more complicated when a woman has built a successful career and businesses.
“If you look at me, do you think there are people who have never wanted to have kids with me or wanted to marry me? But when you’re a fully groomed woman, you have your businesses, you have things going on, when someone proposes to you, there are so many things you have to think about,” Sheilah said.
Sheilah also took a direct swipe at Evelyn, questioning her ability to understand the responsibilities that come with running a business. “You have never even managed a small kiosk,” she said, while responding to Evelyn’s remarks.
The socialite explained that marriage could potentially affect her nightclub business because part of her appeal is her presence at the club. According to Sheilah, some clients come specifically to see her and may spend money on alcohol in an attempt to get her attention.
“If I woke up one day and announced that I’m getting married, my club business would be in trouble because I attract people in my nights who want to see me as I am now. But if I wanted to take it extra, my man can just make me my own club,” she explained.
Sheilah added that in such a situation, she would simply supervise the business rather than remain heavily involved in its day-to-day operations. She also maintained that despite the attention she receives from male clients at the club, she has never dated any of them.
“Then I’d just come in to supervise. Sometimes people come to see how Sheilah looks like and they come and buy alcohol to get my attention. I have never dated a client from the club,” she said.
