Ugandan singing duo Kataleya and Kandle have revealed that the BMW X3 they were gifted by their former management, Ray Pan, in December 2025 was allegedly only provided as part of a publicity stunt.
The singers said they were extremely excited when they received the car and genuinely believed it belonged to them.
“We were so excited. We ran everywhere celebrating, took the car and enjoyed it,” they recalled.
According to Kataleya and Kandle, they drove the BMW for several days and even took it to a washing bay the following day because they were convinced it was now their personal car.
However, their excitement reportedly came to an abrupt end when the vehicle suddenly disappeared.
The duo said they contacted their management to find out what had happened to the car, only to be told that it had been given to them for public relations purposes.
The revelation has now shed new light on the much-publicised BMW gift, which had generated excitement among their fans at the time.
Kataleya and Kandle have since parted ways with Ray Pan management as they continue to pursue their music careers independently.
