Veteran musician Kid Fox has offered to collaborate with Dr Jose Chameleone, saying he believes a fresh musical partnership could help the celebrated singer regain momentum in his career.
Speaking in a television interview, Kid Fox claimed that Chameleone is currently experiencing a difficult period musically and said he is willing to contribute to his comeback through a collaboration.
“I can give Chameleone a collaboration to revive his career. He is struggling musically, and I can help him come back to the top. He should come through. I helped him in the beginning and am willing to do so as well,” Kid Fox said.
The veteran artiste presented the proposal as an extension of the support he says he offered Chameleone during the early stages of his career.
Kid Fox spent nearly 15 years living in Japan before returning to Uganda, where he has continued his involvement in the local music industry.
He has also positioned himself as an experienced musician willing to mentor and support artistes, and now believes a collaboration with Chameleone could create another opportunity for the two to work together.
It is not yet clear whether Chameleone will accept the offer or whether the proposed collaboration will eventually materialise.
