Pretty Banks has shared her views on the ongoing debate about women dating men who do not own homes, saying she has no problem being with a man who still rents.

Her comments come after relationship advice from Susan Makula Bujjingo went viral, with Makula advising women against dating men who are still renting.
However, Pretty Banks does not share the same view, arguing that owning a house should not be the main measure of a man’s suitability as a partner.
According to Pretty Banks, factors such as love, support, generosity, understanding and having shared goals are more important in a relationship.
“It isn’t a big deal. Do you like your man? Does he support you? Is he generous? Do you understand each other? Do you have a shared dream? That’s what matters,” she said.
Pretty Banks added that she would be comfortable dating a man who rents, especially if he is financially responsible and investing his money in other ventures.
She questioned why a woman should focus solely on whether a man owns a house when he could be using his resources to build other sources of income.
“I can’t be focusing on him not having a house, what if he built apartments on that land and he’s earning money there?” she added.
