Acidic Vokoz Announces ‘Ndi Musoga Festival’ for December at Kyabazinga Stadium

Ugandan singer Acidic Vokoz has announced the return of his Ndi Musoga Festival, with the next edition scheduled for December 20, 2026, at Kyabazinga Stadium, also known as Bugembe Stadium, in Jinja.

The singer, whose real name is Kakaire Mutwailu, announced the festival on Thursday, October 8, describing the Jinja event as a homecoming following the success of his debut Ndi Musoga concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala in August 2024.

Acidic Vokoz called on his fans to turn up in large numbers as he looks to build on the reception of the first major event.

The festival will be staged with the involvement of Zhafar Music Agency and is expected to celebrate Busoga’s music, culture and entertainment.

The choice of Jinja is particularly significant for the event, as Ndi Musoga, meaning “I am Musoga,” is one of Acidic Vokoz’s songs celebrating Busoga and its cultural identity. The singer has also previously served as a Busoga Kingdom tourism ambassador.

The upcoming festival follows an earlier attempt to take the event to Bugembe. A planned edition scheduled for November 1, 2025 was postponed after organisers realised that the date coincided with the birthday of the Kyabazinga of Busoga.

The original Ndi Musoga concert in 2024 marked an important moment in Acidic Vokoz’s career, with the Kampala show establishing the festival concept around his music and Busoga identity.

Further details about ticket prices, supporting artistes and the full entertainment line-up for the December event are expected to be announced closer to the festival.
