Ugandan-born singer Wizzard OG, also known as East Africa’s Finest, has released a new three-track music project titled Gwe Anina, adding to his growing catalogue as he continues to connect with audiences in Uganda and the diaspora.
The 2026 release features three songs: Gwe Anina, My Bebe and Zaabu. The project gives fans fresh music from the Germany-based artist, who blends contemporary sounds with East African musical influences.
Wizzard OG has built his career across different musical and cultural environments. Having relocated to Germany as a child, he developed experience in modelling and commercial acting before focusing more on music. He previously sang in German before embracing sounds rooted in Uganda and the wider East African region.

The singer is associated with Leone Island Music Empire, the music label led by Ugandan star Jose Chameleone. His sound draws from Afrobeats, Amapiano, dancehall, Zouk and Kompa, bringing together influences from Kampala and the European music scene.
His earlier releases include Honey, Forgetting Me, Tasobya, Ki Uganda Kinyuma and Simala, which featured on Jose Chameleone’s Kawempe Riddim. He has also collaborated with Pallaso on I Choose You and continued releasing music aimed at expanding his audience.
Wizzard OG has performed at diaspora events in Germany, including the Munich Easter Carnival, sharing stages with Ugandan artists such as Spice Diana and King Saha.
With Gwe Anina, the singer continues to build his profile among Ugandan music fans at home and abroad. The project is available on Spotify and other digital music platforms.
