Miracle Centre Cathedral, Rubaga head Pastor Robert Kayanja has responded to motivational speaker and political commentator Frank Gashumba, who challenged born-again pastors to prove their anointing by healing the sick.

“Our miracles are not fake. They are God-made. It is biblical that you have to be born again to have them,” Pastor Kayanja said.
His comments follow a public challenge from Mr. Gashumba, who put up UGX 200 million for any pastor, prophet or apostle who claims to perform miracles.
Mr. Gashumba said such a person should walk into the intensive care unit (ICU) of any big hospital and heal a patient in front of the public.

The challenge has sparked a heated debate on social media and in religious circles.
Some Ugandans support Mr. Gashumba and say faith leaders should be open to testing their claims. Others say miracles cannot be performed on demand or used to win a prize.
Pastor Kayanja has long been one of the best-known preachers in Uganda. His church often holds healing and prayer services that draw large crowds.
Mr. Gashumba, a frequent critic of public figures, has not yet said whether he will respond to Pastor Kayanja’s reply.
It is also not clear whether any pastor will accept the UGX 200 million challenge.
The debate continues to attract attention, with many people waiting to see if any religious leader will take up the offer.
We will keep you posted
