Rising Ugandan singer Mimi Kampala has dismissed any talk of settling into a relationship, insisting that this stage of her life is dedicated entirely to chasing her dreams in the music industry.

During an appearance on Galaxy TV, the singer said she still considers herself too young to be thinking about love. According to Mimi, her biggest priority is establishing herself as a successful artist, and she believes getting into a relationship now could shift her attention away from the goals she has set for herself.
Mimi described herself as “a baby” both in age and in her career, explaining that she has only just begun her journey in the entertainment industry.
She stressed that she wants to achieve major milestones before opening her heart to anyone, saying her current focus is on hard work, consistency, and building her brand.
Even so, the singer admitted she has an idea of what she would look for in a future partner. She said she would prefer a man who is already financially stable, noting that money contributes to a happier relationship.
While she laughed off the topic by saying she doesn’t know much about love yet, Mimi maintained that financial security makes relationships healthier and more enjoyable, adding that this is one reason she is determined to work hard and secure her own future first.
