Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has revealed that she recently spent $10,000 (approximately UGX 36 million) on a facelift, describing the procedure as an investment in her career and personal brand.
Speaking about her decision, Zari explained that her appearance is a key part of her business, noting that many of the endorsement deals and brand partnerships she secures are largely influenced by how she looks.
“My face is my business,” she said, adding that maintaining a youthful and refreshed appearance is essential in the competitive entertainment and influencer industry.
According to Zari, the facelift alone cost $10,000, excluding airfare and other travel expenses associated with undergoing the cosmetic procedure abroad.
The mother of five also encouraged women who can afford cosmetic enhancements to invest in themselves if it boosts their confidence, stressing that there should be no shame in choosing to improve one’s appearance.
Zari has never shied away from discussing cosmetic procedures, openly sharing aspects of her beauty journey with fans. Her latest revelation has sparked widespread debate on social media, with some applauding her honesty while others questioned the growing trend of cosmetic surgery among celebrities.
