Two Next Media journalists, Producer Badru and Isaac Ndagigye, lost their lives while television presenter Brian Macona was critically injured following a tragic road accident along the Namulanda-Entebbe Road.
The three journalists were reportedly traveling after covering several assignments, including the celebrity boxing match between content creators Chicken Chicken and Shawa.
According to preliminary information, they were traveling in a Toyota vehicle, registration number UA 779DE, when it was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle, registration number UAS 976W.
Producer Badru and Isaac Ndagigye died at the scene of the accident due to the impact of the crash. Brian Macona sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Kisubi Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
