Brian Avie Claims Witchcraft Is Rampant in Uganda’s Music Industry

Brian Avie has claimed that witchcraft is widespread in the music industry, alleging that some artists resort to supernatural practices to bring down their competitors.

Speaking to Galaxy TV, Brian Avie dismissed suggestions that such claims are merely rumours, insisting that some of the experiences musicians go through are difficult for the public to understand.

“It’s not rumours. The industry is indeed full of people sending each other juju to put them down,” he said.

Brian Avie explained that his experiences had prompted him to take a step back and reflect on his life, noting that some incidents were too deep for people who had not experienced them to understand.

“There are things we go through that people wouldn’t understand because they are deep, but for me, I had laid back to analyse and self-reflect on myself,” he added.

The singer also said he could relate to fellow musician Sama Sojah’s account of allegedly experiencing threatening dreams involving lions and other frightening occurrences, claiming that he had gone through similar experiences.

Brian Avie recounted an incident on the Entebbe Expressway in which he said a huge butterfly suddenly obstructed his driver’s view, nearly causing an accident.

“We were once at Entebbe Express and a huge butterfly came and covered my driver’s view, and we almost got an accident,” he narrated.
