A Pass has revealed that one of his biggest dreams is to record a song with Bobi Wine, whom he describes as his favourite artist.
The “Buwooma” hitmaker said his admiration for Bobi Wine dates back to his school days, long before he entered the music industry. According to A Pass, his classmates can attest to how much he loved Bobi Wine’s music because he would often mime his songs.
“When I was starting music, I looked up to Bobi Wine and the people I went to school with know this because I used to mime his songs. I’m a big, big fan.”
A Pass also revealed that he used to defend Bobi Wine whenever discussions about music came up among his friends, despite having no personal relationship with the singer at the time.
“We used to argue with the Bebe Cool fans at school,” A Pass recalled, highlighting the musical rivalries that existed among young fans during that period.
Interestingly, A Pass noted that life took an unexpected turn because, despite defending Bobi Wine, it is Bebe Cool whom he has worked with extensively over the years. He has yet to collaborate with Bobi Wine, something he finds ironic given his long-standing admiration for him.
“Funnily, it’s Bebe Cool who I have worked a lot with. I haven’t done music with Bobi Wine yet. It’s interesting how life pans out.”
