State Minister for Local Government Justine Nameere has once again hit back at media personality Faridah Nakazibwe following the resurgence of their old feud, saying she is unfazed by people who continue to criticize or fight her.
Nameere, who was attending singer Ray G’s concert, said she has faced increased criticism since becoming a Member of Parliament and later joining government as a minister. However, she said the attacks do not affect her because she believes she is uniquely blessed and successful.
“You have to pray for them because I know they are paining. I’m a full package. There’s no one like me. May God comfort their wounds,” Nameere said.
The minister further suggested that some of those who constantly attack her are struggling emotionally, describing them as being in “depression.”
She maintained that she has chosen to focus on her work and the progress she has made rather than being distracted by her critics.
Nameere also spoke about her ongoing anti-corruption campaign with fellow government official Balaam Barugahara, saying they have been taking the campaign to local governments. She attributed her success to God, revealing that some of her supporters in Masaka have even nicknamed her “God’s project.”
“My story is just God, and even in Masaka, many of my supporters call me God’s project,” she said.
