Ugandan singer Kapa Cat has revealed that she is currently single but remains open to relationships with people who understand her personality, describing herself as a sweet and loyal partner when in love.
Speaking during an interview on NRG Radio, the singer said she has dated people who understood her, adding that she gives her best when she commits to a relationship.
“I have had a four-year relationship, I have had a three-year relationship, and the one that ended recently was two and a half years, I think, but I’m not nursing a heartbreak,” she said.
Kapa Cat’s remarks suggest that she has experienced relationships of different lengths, including a recent one that lasted about two and a half years. However, she maintained that she is not struggling with heartbreak following its end.
The singer also spoke about changes in her music career, revealing that she has shifted some of her attention towards supporting fellow artists at their concerts instead of concentrating solely on organising her own shows.
According to Kapa Cat, the decision is part of a broader effort to diversify her income sources and pursue other business ventures, as relying on music alone was not generating enough money.
She explained that she chose to focus on side hustles and explore other opportunities rather than limit herself to music.
