Singer Laika has opened up about a past romantic encounter with a fellow showbiz personality, revealing that their connection reached discussions about intimacy before she questioned their intellectual compatibility.
“I’ve talked to someone deep and as far as intimacy, and I think he wasn’t the right guy intellectually,” she said.
Laika also argued that dating is often exaggerated in Uganda, saying spending time together and sharing meals can count as dating, even without a serious commitment.
The singer added that she is now more open-minded about potential partners, saying she values meaningful conversations, good character and potential over someone’s profession or social status.
Meanwhile, fellow singer John Blaq said he has never dated or even approached a fellow entertainer romantically.
