Zuena Kirema has responded to fans calling on her to return to music with a concert, making it clear that she has no plans to get back on stage anytime soon.
During a TikTok Live, some of Zuena’s fans praised her music and asked her to organise a concert, but the singer dismissed the idea, explaining that she no longer has the energy or patience required to sustain a music career.
Zuena said she initially ventured into music largely out of boredom and was never particularly serious about building a long-term career in the industry. She added that performing would require her to deal with the pressures of being on stage, including criticism and confrontations with fans.
“Someone just said they love my music and they want a concert. Leave me alone. Do not make me laugh. Some of us started singing out of boredom and decided to give it a shot. We were not that serious. I am not giving you a concert,” she said.
Zuena further explained that she no longer has the energy to jump around on stage, deal with insults from fans or engage in the drama that can come with performing. For now, she appears content to leave her music career in the past despite the continued demand from fans for a comeback.
