Stop being paupers – Haruna Mubiru tells off fellow artists

Musician Hajji Haruna Mubiru has advised Ugandan artists to start up other other sources of income because the industry will not open up soon.

Since the government imposing a ban on public gatherings due to Covid-19, the situation has shed doom on performing artists turning in paupers.

This is where Hajji Haruna based to advise fellow artists that the time is nigh they vetnure into other business as they wait for President Museveni to open up,

“I advise fellow artists to start up some businesses because the art industry might not be opened this soon. I know we all don’t have money but its advisable you do something that will give you some money” Hajji Haruna said during an interview with spark television.

Haruna is one of the few artists who own side businesses. He has a hotel where many artists go to have their meals.

He went ahead and said it doesn’t make sense to him to see artists begging money yet they have two hands and can do any business.
