Singer and Kakuuto Member of Parliament Geoffrey Lutaya has outshined fellow NUP member Kawempe North MP Ssegirinya Muhammad as he presents his maiden speech on the floor of Parliament first than him.
This came few months after their swearing in as MPS.
Yesterday Thursday 5th August 2021, Geoffrey Lutaya presented his ever first speech on the floor of the 11th Parliament and he raised issues of the people of Kakuuto he is representing concerning roads.

It should be noted that Geoffrey Lutaya has become the first person in NUP from the entertainment industry to get on the floor of the 11th Parliament presenting matters of Kakuuto people.
Other people like Dr. Hilderman, Segirinya Muhammad have not been seen anywhere on the floor of Parliament giving their speeches.
