Uganda Police Force spokesperson Fred Enanga has revealed that Kawempe North MP Ssegirinya Muhammad and Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana are the people behind Masaka killings.
This came few days after the two were summoned to appear to the CID Masaka Police station.
While addressing journalists today, Fred Enanga said the suspects that were caught by police said they killed Masaka people under the command of two Politician Ssegirinya and Ssewanyana.
“The suspects indicated to us how they were promised wealth and this was under the command of the two politicians. We are going to record statements from the two MPs who are behind the murders,”Enanga said.
Fred Enanga said statement from the suspects indicated that all the plans for the killings were organized from Ndeeba and they were promised wealth.
“The statements from suspects indicate that in a meeting at Ndeeba, they were recruited and all was done under the command of the two politicians. We want explanation from them”
It should be noted that Ssegirinya has just joined parliament and it’s not even less than a year since he joined Parliament.
Enanga has said they will follow up and every detailed will be shared with the public.
