I don’t believe in UMA – Eddy Yawe opens up

Legendary artist and producer talented Eddy Yawe has given his genuine feelings about the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).

UMA has been in existence for more than five years but it became active most in 2019.

According to Eddy Yawe, UMA is not about musicians but it is about greedy hungry people calling themselves musicians looking for money.

Yawe added on that, the Constitution of UMA is not real and it favors no one in the art industry.

“Personally i don’t believe in UMA because i don’t understand their motive. At first i thought it is going to be favoring artists but through their constitution i realized its about people looking for money,” Eddy Yawe said.

He also talked about the coming elections saying vote rigging will obviously be their because if the top government can do it why not the local artists.

“I don’t expect free and fair elections for sure. Vote rigging is normal in Uganda because the top government also did the same
